i finaly got the chance to buy that camera ive been craving for for the last 7 months or so...
and ive even taken a couple of pictures that i feel the need to upload to DA too
only thing is; my comp is in bergen, and ive been working so much lately, and will keep doing for the next month, so i barely have time to sit down in front of any computer -borrowed or othervise anyway.

i also got a letter from the university i applied to earlier this year this weekend. i was excepted in the class that was my first choice there (litterature).

i also got a confirmation message from that art school (photostudies) i had applied too. i got in, there too.

needless to say, i had a lot of thoughts roaming through my mind the few hours i let myself think about it. accepted at uni... ive dreamt about that since i was fourteen-fifteen years old. ive always wanted a good education, and university... thats high up there!
and with everything ive been through since i was fourteen, you can imagine how big that was for me to have accomplished that. to have been accepted at uni.. and whats more - in the field i had as my top priority.

but ive known for the last couple of years, that that have turned into a backup plan.
even as great as it is....
i mean, im freakkin proud i managed to get that acceptance, but theres a reason why ive really wanted that camera.

i need to create my own work, not read about, and become an expert in someone elses accomplishments.

so....i guess you know what school i picked

i need to go sleep, so that ill be awake enough to work my ass off in the morning,day,afternoon and night... ive grown tired and exhausted (a hefty virusinfection and blocked sinuses will do that to you...), but theres only one month left, and ill be free... and then ill be able to afford those lenses i want so bad

i was looking around for some covers to some albums ive got on my ipod (im so weird that way..i want the original ones... ).

anyway, i came across this page :

and i recognised several of the images posted there from dA.
and i saw a watermark/logo on atleast one of them - and ive notified her about it. still, theres a lot of them that doesent have any watermarks on them, they just look familiar.... i think that several of the people im whatching should take a look...

just wanted you to know

if you recognise others work there too, please tell them. they might want to know.

one thing is to post stuff like that, and tell others where to find the art, its something different to not even link back to the ones that actually made it... and from what i've gathered from staying here for a while, is that people have a reason to put watermarks on their work.

My Eight Facts

1: I find it hard to trust people, so it sometimes takes a little while for me to open up to people for real. so no, im not really that arrogant, as some seem to percieve me to be at times
2: I often hide behind talking about the silliest, most triviel things instead of going into the deepest of heart-to-hearts. mostly because it scares me to share some of the truths that have come to define me over the years.as if they became even more real and painful by each time i said them out loud. so no, im not that daft, either. anyone who remembers Florida from Joe Hill's 'Heart-shaped box' might remember one of her lines, and see what is written between the lines here that said, that poor girl had a lot worse,and much more painful life than me
3: One thing you couldnt tell by looking at me : i love the gym. no kidding. the energy it gives me to just work on my own there for a couple of hours, killing inner demons and press myself a little further, is so great ive been stressing and working too much lately...i need to go there sometimes this week.
4: Ive been in love two times in my life.... not much, huh?? well, the crushes lasted long but one of them died, one of them had a serious health scare,that turned out to be nothing, and im a semi-jealous person when it comes to the love department, so youd probably be better off with me not falling for you
5: I write. a lot. some of it you see on here. some of it will never see the light of day. most of it, a lot of people will never understand. but maybe thats a good thing. my diaries where never as personal as my writng,lyrics, and/or poems.
6: Ive got four heroes left in this world. Nelson Mandela (we all need to be a little less hateful in our lives, dont we? ), my 'baby' brother( so, there really are nice guys in this world? huh.... who would have known...), and my two best friends E.A and Siss (the voices of madness have -simply put- been replaced by their voices of reason in my head. if youre ever lost, i hope youve got someone like them in your life.). please, dont turn out to be 'nothing but humans'!
7: Im a closet wannabe-drummer. xD and a closet wannabe-songwriter, but thats another story...
8: im one of those people that used to make up stories in their head when they were kids, and close my eyes,and watch them as movies on my 'inner silverscreen'. I need to tell stories. and Ive pretty much gone from wanting to do that with live film, to stills over the last couple of years. i still strive for that ultimate day, when i will finaly see my own work as great and timeless. or what i call frozen poetry....

so thats where that name comes from: -the strive that i one day might be happy about my own creations

how are you guys?

im so sorry ive been away so long, and in the mean time, a lot of you have written in your journal, some of you have left me messages and a few faved some of my stuff -and ive even gotten more friends next to that, ive got a tonn of deviations to check out too......
so im really sorry that i havent gotten around to answer all of you yet or see the new deviations, for that matter...

a little while back though, i suggested this really great manip for a DD, like we sometimes do when we really like something
now i happen to read a journal update, where the artist (the artist that owns and writes the journal, not the one that created the piece i suggested) blames someone for lying to them about suggesting one of their pieces. that they had sent them a note saying they had done so, when they hadnt. now, i dont know the whole story, so i wont be too bombastic about this, but....
you all know that there are probably several hundred works suggested for a DD every week -probably a lot more?
you are all aware that everyone cant be picked out, and the amount of work behind chosing one is...well, tremendous?
so most of you wont get a DD, and particulary not if theres only a couple of people that have suggested one (of several) of your pieces. i mean, the artist and the manip i suggested clearly deserves it, as far as im conserned. but if i were the only one that suggested that particular manip that particular day, it wouldnt be enough.
but like i said, i dont know the whole story, so i wont say that those that told the artist i mentioned that they had suggested her work actually had done so. they might have lied. but how can she know for sure? ( youre right. i havent read all the rules for it yet.)
i feel its not really my place to say something, so ill leave it at this. but this is my two cents anyway, so....


on a personal note....
early this week i lost someone very close to me to cancer.again. so needless to say, ive got a funeral to attend to, and some other stuff that i will deal with this comming week.plus, ill go on a 'vacation' -also known as 'go visit my family for easter'. and quite frankly, im not really in the mood to stay on the net for long these days when im actually home, so you wont se updates for a little while, yet.

ive got something im working on,though. so there will be new stuff here soon i hope.... if i dont jinx it
